a sort of resource on the phyre engine... detailing a lot of the reasons why you have to be very determined still today to get a game made for a console... specifically the ps3. Seems pretty biased in some spots, while in other ways, they really give credit to the 360, so it seems like it's not a ground for flamewars (just yet). Either way, a very young site (just look at the petition list... ouch... small), but still kicking.

Well snap. I guess this is when web apps are sort of crossing the line... but not? I dunno... that's a cool tool... but. But.. you might as well just buy illustrator or the like. You know? I still thumb it up because that's all opinion, and these guys did their homework and seem to have made a good service.

Some cool, simple, free games (just think "free game" while you play it, and you'll probably enjoy at least one aspect of em). Some are puzzlers, and others are pure explorers... levels and level builders to boot!

Has not been very friendly with my other AJAX stuff... at all. :-/ I can't give it a thumb down (I really only do it when it totally bites) because a lot of good work went into this, and it'll work great if you don't have a lot to patch it into. It would be great if it worked, because it would reduce my js downloads by 250Kb (not an insignificant amount!)... but it simply isn't happening. I poops on load and there's no immediate way to debug the cause unless I want to pull out aptana and do a huge load of work. I just don't have the time. So no thumb-up, either. Still noteworthy, however

I can't give it a thumb up just yet... it simply seems too perceptibly slow. Perhaps for a quick n dirty job, it'll do, but for a battle tested flash/java solution, it might be better to do it by hand. Still, I didn't give it a thumb down either... it's very promising, and it's already usable. Give it a shot if it's something you think you'll need.

Because who the heck wants to keep reinventing the wheel.
I want to marry the guy who coded this... *apparently affection is appreciation is respect is honor. So be quiet or fix the English language*... (I'm just kidding about the marriage bit, by the way, but this really is just an awesome thing that adobe has sponsored)

A very awesome sort of free-style webcomic... albeit with a very noticeable tinge of DBZ to it (combat with words and techniques that neither make much sense nor lend well to the story as much as I'd like). But the art is awesome. And the story does get a good bit compelling when you kind of start to get to where you understand what's going on (wait for it... wait for it...... waaaaaaittt foooorrrrr iiiiiiittttt)... I'm not entirely sure if the story is over yet. From the looks of the news log, it isn't.
